Olam joins the commonwealth; HM appoints a new Keeper of the Seal

The Republic of Olam, a Jewish micronation, has officially joined the Laskaridian Commonwealth Association As a protectorate. With his majesty the King assuming the role as Sovereign, he appointed Sir Benjamin Levinson as Governor-General just this evening. Sir Levinson was also made Lord Keeper of the Seal, a position in the royal court. Although the position is ceremonial,he was created Count of Rexford, and styled “Your Grace.”

Olam also received a new flag, as shown in the image above, as well as a new coat of arms in the form of an escutcheon. It features a menorah, an icon of Judaism hinting to its culture. Meanwhile, the Marquis Leopold-Almeida and Tolerantia officials have a heated battle in campaigning as the election draws near.
